She clothed widows, lifted the poor, and left such a legacy of compassion that when she died, her city wept until God raised her to life again (Acts 9:36‑41). Dorcas’s story is proof that ordinary kindness, multiplied by faith, can upend despair.

Today, Midnight Roar, carries that mantle forward through the Dorcas Project—an initiative that turns practical help into tangible hope for women and children on society’s margins.

Our Calling

The Dorcas Project, an initiative of Midnight Roar, exists to ignite that same bold leadership in women who face injustice, poverty, and despair today. Through mentorship, vocational training, trauma‑informed counseling, and micro‑grants for community projects, we help women move from survival to significance—one life, one family, one neighborhood at a time.

I am here to testify for the good support Midnight Roar has offered me during my darkest moments in life. I am a beneficiary of Dorcas project

I was in very serious family problems and a financial crisis .

I called prophetess Irene and explained my situation to her and how urgently I needed support. My life was crushing down and even a place to stay was a problem. I was asked to even leave my marital home and he was looking to separate. I had no one to take me out of this situation. I was mentally exhausted, broken and felt rejected. But thank God for this community of women who God used to my rescue

Family to my surprise , she sent me money to get a space for my business, rent, and some household items that I need to get for a living. This woman who cried every night to sleep, can also smile , can have a space for me and my child. A place to do business to take care of my self

I'm so grateful to God Almighty for connecting me to prophetess Irene and this community of women.

I don't know what would have happened to me without Midnight Roar and this Now Dorcas project. Meet A.P.

I would like to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to God for His mercy and goodness. I joined Midnight Roar in October 2023 during a particularly challenging time in my life when I had just lost my job and was facing various difficulties, including my children's health issues. I felt emotionally broken from the weight of life's trials.

I am incredibly thankful for Reverend Nickson and Pastor Irene. Whenever I reached out to Pastor Irene, she always took the time to call me back, pray with me, and offer encouragement. Last October, I found myself unable to pay my rent due to financial strain and received an eviction notice in January and a court date. In that moment of desperation, I reached out to Pastor Irene and the Midnight Roar community, asking for prayers, believing that they could bring about positive change.

Not only did I receive prayers, but I also benefited from financial support through the Dorcas Project. I am truly grateful to be a recipient of this initiative, which has provided me with much-needed assistance.

Midnight Roar has changed my prayer life. I joined this platform about 2yrs ago when I was believing God for something specific but turn out to be more than what I asked for. It has drew me even more closer to God and taught me as a women how important it to have a consistent prayer life. Midnight roar as supported in many ways e.g they supported me last year with over a $1000 on my feed the Kids Foundation (an establishedment I have build by the grace of God to support the least privileged.
